Born in Tokyo. At two years old, she moved with her parents to Nagano City.

After finishng high school there, came back alone to Tokyo, where she learned jazz vocal from great female jazz singer, Yoko Sikes who lives in Florida.

In 19xx, Shiho was admitted to Berkeley College of Music, and studied jazz music theory, vocal, composition and piano playing. Her class mates were such as;
Jaleel Shaw who is now most remarkable jazz musician and is playing in New York City and many cities in the States an alto saxophone with Mark Turner, Roy Hargorove, Robert Glasper, Jeremy Pelt, Roy Haynes, Johnathan Blake, Mingus Big Band and many more artists.

After graduation, she moved to NYC where he sang at various jazz clubs as Pumpkins in Brooklyn, Cleopatra's Needle of Upper West, Kitano Hotel at Midtown .....accomapnied by Joris Teepe, Manhattan based great bassist and more.

Currently Shiho is singing songs at jazz clubs in Tokyo and Yokohama, see gig schedule.
